Took the family out to the new mall. The Bay West mall is so new that there is still construction going on. We had lunch with the in-laws and I bought myself a small day-before-my-birthday gift that I assembled when we got home.

And, in case you didn’t notice, it’s my birthday tomorrow.

Day 3

The point of the long intro describing my day was to draw attention to the fact that I did everything except work on my computer.

I did dream up a project I could do in Go, but then I found that it already existed. And, somewhat related through an unmentioned series of thoughts, I sometimes wish I could start doing my PhD (again).

Day 4 is going to be even less computer work.
